Back to "Us"

Spring Hike, Hamilton near the RBG - 5 May 2002

We arrived in one of these cars. The other Jenn lusts after. You choose.

A goose - very nice. There was a huge swan a few minutes ago, but he wasn't friendly enough to wait around to have his photo taken.

We were both kind of curious at this point.

I *love* this sign. Who'd make such a thing?

These plans reminded us of the "black boy" plans we saw in Australia. (link will go here)

That's Hamilton across the more picturesque end of the harbour.

On the grounds of the RBG - it's a cherry tree. (Jenn, correct me here...)

Juxtaposition of hard/mechanical and soft flowering trees. Jenn looks like she's on the wrong side.

This object was a long way away from us. Any ideas? (possibly: just a rock)

The mother was quite upset at us taking a photo of her nest in this lamp standard. But in our defense we'd never have thought to put the camera in that hole if she hadn't made such a fuss about it. (We had no idea what kind of photo it would be until afterwards. Jackpot!)

This one's for you, Mom!

(At the local greenhouse / garden store.)
